My images are inspired by my experiences, most notably the death of my parents and my journeys around the globe.
The diary of my 24th year became a personal album "24". It includes poetic written memories about my family and photographs I took while travelling. During this period, I realised that the latter evoked the former. "24" eventually led me to work on self-portraiture. The images subsequently produced combine my appreciation of life with the record of a stage in my development, and are predominantly rooted in the natural elements such as water, rock and my body itself. I chose my body as one example and attempted to enhance inspiration from life and death in nature.
